What “affiliate link” means here
An affiliate link contains a tracking code that tells the seller we sent you. If you purchase, the seller pays us a small referral fee. You pay the same price you would anywhere else.
We use affiliate links for:
- AI software plans (e.g., ElevenLabs, Runway, HeyGen, Synthesia)
- Creator hardware (e.g., via manufacturer or retailer programs)
- Selected retailer links where relevant
Our promise: commissions never shape rankings
This is a hard rule, not a slogan:
- Our ranking rubric is commission-blind. We do not rank a tool higher because it pays more. (See our Methodology.)
- Our analysis is independent. A commission relationship does not buy a better score, a gentler “con,” or a spot on a list.
- Free and low-cost options are always covered in every category we write about.
If you ever suspect a recommendation was bought, tell us. We will show you the source-tier evidence behind it.
Amazon Associates (if applicable)
AICreatorGear is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Where Amazon links appear, we follow Amazon’s operating agreement: we do not embed them in emailed newsletters or downloadable PDFs, and we use standard (non-cloaked) links.
How we label affiliate links on pages
On every article that contains monetized links, you will see a disclosure near the top, in plain language:
“Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our ratings — see our source-tier methodology.”
This placement is intentional: the disclosure sits before or adjacent to the links, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Sponsored content & manufacturer samples
We do not sell positive reviews, and we do not publish paid-for “sponsored posts.” Our scoring method is commission-blind and sample-blind.
Manufacturer sample program (how we handle free units)
We may accept a product sample sent by a manufacturer for testing only. Acceptance never buys a better score, a softer “con,” or a placement. Our rules:
- We test it ourselves. A sample is verified by our editors — we re-run the claims (export limits, run times, output quality) before publishing.
- Conclusion stays ours. The manufacturer sees the draft only to correct factual errors, never to change a verdict or remove criticism.
- We disclose it. Any article based on a provided sample is labeled with its source tier: 🔬 E2a = free-plan / self-purchased test, or 🔬 E2b = manufacturer-provided sample test (see our Methodology).
- No money, no drafts from vendors. We do not accept payment to review, and we do not publish vendor-supplied copy.
If a product was provided to us, it will be clearly stated on the page and in the research box, and it does not affect our scoring method.
